Green Avenue Enhancements, Streetscape, and Complete Streets

Guernsey’s Master Plan envisions lighting improvements, landscaping, irrigation, pedestrian crosswalks, sidewalks, and gateway features. Guernsey developed a schematic design for the entire corridor from North I-35 ramps to the South I-35 ramps, and additional three miles.

The City of Purcell suffered a devastating ice storm that destroyed the Green Avenue streetscape. Green Avenue is the main road that enters Purcell from I-35. Guernsey provided engineering and landscape design services for the Green Avenue Enhancements.

Guernsey held extensive meetings with the Purcell public, City Staff, and the Green Avenue advisory team to develop a master plan that would enhance this vital corridor.
