General Environmental Services
Guernsey performed general environmental engineering services to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
ODOT issued Task Orders on a per-project needed basis. These services included the following: corridor-wide initial site assessments (Corridor ISA’s); parcel-specific initial site assessment (Parcel ISA’s); subsurface site investigation; remedial planning; remedial oversight and reporting; and regulatory compliance. Typical Task Orders include:
- Various environmental assessment issues-it is only to be used for initial responses
- Various project planning and preconstruction scope items to include: ISA’s, subsurface site investigations, remedial planning/oversight/reporting, and regulatory compliance for transportation corridors and individual parcels to be determined
- Initial Site Assessment and provide monthly status reports
- Phase I ESA for a real estate property
- Monitor well installation and collect soil and groundwater samples. Prepare a well and boring installation report and a suspicion of release report in accordance with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission (OCC) scope and requirements
- Ground Penetrating Radar to determine if an underground storage tank is located on a property
- Plug and abandon monitoring wells according to Oklahoma Corporation rules
- Installation of soil borings to analyzed for benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene and TX TPH and preparation of a Site Investigation Report
- Prepare Spill Prevention Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plan
