Water Conveyance Evaluation of Alternatives for Oklahoma

Guernsey performed a study that considered three route alignments and conceptual design for alternative interconnected system routes for the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. The goal was to present viable options for potential water transfer from Lake Texoma, Eufaula Lake/Arkansas River, and Kaw Lake in eastern Oklahoma.

The effort focuses on transfer and regionalization of water supply/treatment in large areas of western Oklahoma. Scope of services includes the following tasks.

  • Participate in a kick-off meeting
  • Review the 1980 Plan
  • Identify and select alternative interconnected system routes
  • Prepare conceptual high level layouts of these system routes
