Rotor Shop Renovation
This project renovated the existing NDI Shop located in Building 3001 at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. The design provided new rinse booths, renovated the existing drying oven and cooling tunnel, renovated the existing power and free conveyor system, and upgraded the system controls.
Lower equipment maintenance costs and more efficient equipment and conveyor systems allow for greater reliability and parts tracking. Enhanced booth and equipment design increases worker safety and efficiency.
Outcomes
The six new booths and modifications to three existing booths as well as the system-wide equipment upgrades provide the government with a higher level of product quality with greater work capacities.
