Water System Master Plan
The City of Enid (City) supplies potable water to its citizens via groundwater pumped from aquifer systems located to the west and southwest of the City. Concerns over long-term capacity and sustainability of the current well fields, treatment processes, and distribution system prompted the City to procure engineering services from Guernsey to investigate the water supply system and develop a master plan.
The master plan evaluated the City’s water supply system to identify system deficiencies and propose capital improvements necessary for the City’s continued growth. Guernsey evaluated all facets of the water supply system including well fields, collection system, water treatment processes, distribution pumping system, distribution network, and water rights.
