Guernsey Welcomes Paul Ryckbost to Board of Directors

Guernsey is pleased to announce the addition of Paul Ryckbost to the company's Board of Directors. As a seasoned leader and Senior Vice President in Guernsey’s Energy and Utility Solutions group, Paul brings a wealth of experience and forward-thinking perspective to his new role on the board.

Paul has been a driving force at Guernsey since joining the company in 2012, contributing to a wide range of infrastructure and urban planning projects that have had a lasting impact on communities across the nation. In his role as Program Manager for The Oklahoma City Water Utility Trust's efforts to acquire the water and wastewater systems at Tinker Air Force Base, Paul has demonstrated his ability to manage complex projects with precision and a holistic approach.

In addition to his leadership within the company, Paul has managed significant projects for cities like Enid, Moore, and McAlester, Oklahoma, and has provided critical planning and infrastructure services to clients such as the Hawaii Community Development Authority, the University of Alabama – Tuscaloosa, and numerous U.S. Department of Defense installations.

Paul’s background as both an urban planner and engineer enables Paul to approach infrastructure challenges from multiple angles, helping shape comprehensive, resilient solutions. Whether it's optimizing utility systems, enhancing public safety, or creating quality public spaces, Paul's work is rooted in the belief that every element of infrastructure must work together to improve daily life.

Paul's extensive credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oklahoma, Michigan, and Hawaii, and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

Outside of his professional life, Paul resides in Edmond, Oklahoma, with his wife Christa and their three children. The Ryckbost family enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, reflecting their shared passion for learning and experiencing the world.
