Guernsey Recognized for the ACEC Grand Conceptor Award

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BOEING DESIGN TEAM!

Thursday, January 26th, ACEC Oklahoma hosted their annual Board & General Membership Meeting and Engineering Excellence Awards Dinner. A panel of judges representing a variety of professions selected this year’s best engineering achievements for projects performed in the state of Oklahoma. Criteria for selection included uniqueness and originality, and technical, economic, and social value. Guernsey was notified previously that we would be in the top 5 receiving at least an honor award and potentially would be receiving the highest award available, the Grand Conceptor Award.

We are honored to announce that Guernsey has taken the Grand Conceptor Award for our work on the Oklahoma City Boeing Office and Electronics Lab. All of the hard work that was performed for this project has resulted in a successful project, a happy client, and now the highest engineering award we could receive in the state of Oklahoma.

We have been invited to submit our project for an award with ACEC National and will be receiving notification of awarded firms receiving Honor and National Grand Conceptor recognitions in April of 2017. ACEC’s Engineering Excellence Awards affirm the vital role that engineering firms play in enhancing the quality of life and security of American and the world.
