SYSCO Kitchen Remodel

This renovation consisted of approximately 4,815 sf and is housed in a large food warehouse/distribution center for central Oklahoma. The existing demonstration kitchen was outdated, and needed to increase in size. SYSCO of Houston designed the proposed kitchen layout incorporating all new equipment needed for the future expansion. The finished interior of the Business Review has 12” x 12” porcelain tile floor and 12” x 18” porcelain tile walls. The new serving counter has new granite top and room for nine guests. The existing range hood has been re-clad with new stainless steel along with the rear wall below the hood. The Dry Storage room has new 12” x 12” porcelain tile floor and 12” x 18” porcelain tile walls, in addition to new walk-in cooler and refrigerator storage.

The Chief Office is new and adjacent to the remodeled Fine Dining. The Fine Dining has new prefinished stain wood wainscot and wood chair rail. New lighting upgrade and wall mounting a flat screen TV completed the atmosphere. The Dishwashing area has 12” x 12” porcelain tile floor and 12” x 18” porcelain walls along with a new flat screen TV on the wall. Code upgrades included adding two hand washing sinks in each the Business Review and the Dishwashing.The Business Review and adjacent rooms have a complete fire suppression system, new HVAC exhaust system, and state of art lighting. The Dry Storage floor loading of the new walk-in unit was structurally engineered to handle the anticipated load of additional food stored inside unit plus the unit. New acoustical lay-in tile (moisture resistant) is installed thorough the renovated area.
