New Electric Cooperative Campus

Dispersed facilities limited operational efficiency, equipment protection, and member access. Northfork Electric Cooperative maintains more than 2,500 miles of distribution infrastructure across multiple western Oklahoma counties, creating operational demands that exceeded its existing footprint. A unified campus was required to support daily operations, administrative functions, and service delivery in one location.

Solution

A new 14-acre campus was designed and constructed along Interstate 40, integrating four purpose-built buildings, site improvements, and new utilities infrastructure into a single operational hub.

The Headquarters Building centralizes leadership, administration, and member services, including a Board of Trustees suite, General Manager’s office suite, administrative offices, a hardened area with training and critical support spaces, a drive-through payment window, and a walk-in member payment lobby.

The Warehouse Building supports field operations with administrative offices, parts storage racks, two truck wash bays, two truck maintenance bays with bridge crane, and a shop bay.

Two Truck Canopies provide weather protection for up to sixteen bucket trucks, protecting parts and hydraulics.

The Transformer Building provides protected storage for used transformers susceptible to leakage.

Site development includes parking, landscaping, and comprehensive utility infrastructure systems across the campus.

Result

The campus consolidates operations, protects critical assets, and supports both routine activity and adverse conditions within a single coordinated environment.
