Corporate Marketing Manager

Description of Duties / Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing corporate marketing staff and continuous interaction with the CEO, Market Sector Leaders, and Operating Group Managers. Coordinate firm-wide activities and initiatives to lead a proactive marketing/growth program, improve the firm’s strategic marketing success, and enhance functional business development activities. Lead the development and implementation of actionable plans to capture opportunities with new and existing clients. Prepare the annual strategic business plan and implement/review business development and marketing processes. Actively coordinate and participate in activities promoting our growth philosophy, continuously reviewing same for effectiveness and opportunities for improvement. Coordinate and conduct performance marketing reviews with market sectors and business units. Curate and protect corporate identity and branding. Direct the firm’s media relations and corporate communications. Develop strong internal communications and information-sharing processes that focus on business development. Provide support and tools for firm’s market sector leaders and support staff. Coordinate firm-wide marketing collateral. Curate and maintain the firm’s digital visual library and marketing information systems. Oversee the firm’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform. Provide tactical and strategic advice and support to executive leadership as required. Some travel required


Position Qualifications:

Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. Strength in identifying, developing, and interacting with existing and potential clients. Ability to manage and mentor team members positively, coordinate workflows, and deliver ahead of deadlines.An understanding of marketing professional services that build success.Can work independently with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and InDesign software, and understands CRM and relevant graphic design concepts. Ability to maintain a current knowledgebase relevant to the position, as well as to creatively identify potential solutions and collaborate effectively to achieve success.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related business field.

Experience: 15-20 years’ experience in professional services marketing, preferably in the architectural/engineering industry.Prior business development and management experience required. Experience should reflect positive growth initiatives and activities.

Essential Physical Functions: Mobility and manual dexterity to work in a standard office environment and use standard office equipment; vision to read handwritten and printed material and a computer screen; hearing and speech to communicate in person and by telephone; ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds such as files, books and boxes of paper for distances up to 50 feet.
