Environmental Audits and Phase I Environmental Site Assessments
The facilities provided aviation fuel support services and maintenance activities for the Department of Defense. Issues included:
- High level environmental auditing
- Previous site impact from adjacent sources
- Previous site impact from onsite activities
- Underground storage tanks
- Above ground storage tanks
- Wastewater discharges from oil / water separators
- Air permits
- Asbestos / lead based paint
The process included extensive communications with a team of attorneys retained by LBS to oversee this relatively large acquisition. The project resulted in the acquisition of the company by LBS.
